We are happy to have stumbled upon another cool project by Zeitguised (previous one here) on Epistrophy.

Beautifully detailed music video by Japanese director and animation artist Onishi Keita. The video was created for the “Dynamics of the Subway” piece which is from Haisuinonasa’s first album – “Animal Bodies”. The choice of minimal geometric forms and made in b&w is deliberate – it allows a fine balance between the audio and visual experience. The thesis project of Ecal Lausanne student Benjamin Muzzin adds a brilliant twist to traditional animation by simply turning it into a three-dimensional experience. Just like traditional animation which uses a simple technique to create a somewhat magical effect, his piece appropriately named “Full Turn” celebrates simplicity and its ability to generate unexpected results.
