Previously featured on Epistrophy for her collaboration with Daniela Figurniak to create the WUAU! characters, Estela Cuadro’s personal work is captivating in its own right. Full of rich detail and masterful use of watercolors, the artworks draw inspiration from circus performers and fictional characters.

This awesome sandwich popup book was created by Polish artist Pawel Piotrowski who decided to explore the idea of layered food as a book experience. Definitely one of the most unusual books I’ve seen in a long time and I can certainly think of several other options for multilayered sequals like cake, pancakes, lasagna, moussaka and casserole!
